I got this knife because I wanted a blade that could be used to cut anything I wanted, and this one does the job. I've wanted a Chinese vegetable cleaver for a while and this knife doesn't disappoint. I have the dual purpose cleaver by the same company and it is awesome but a bit too heavy for more detailed and fast veg prep.

Knife was delivered swiftly, best bread knife I've ever used. Sharp with a good weight balance. Length is not too long or short for any size of bread. Slices like butter, very minimal crumbing thus making for easy clean up after. Wooden handle also looks artisan, blade is made well with branding and SHAN ZU insignia beautifully stamped.

The sharpest knife I've ever owned. Cuts meat like butter, no effort needed. A lot of attention to detail, beautiful packaging. Really happy with this knife!

I liked the feel well made and balanced. You can tell the great craftsmanship that went into making these Damascus knives. These are definitely high end quality.

These are very beautiful knives. The Damascus look brings out the beauty of the knives. Very sharp and the wooden handles are really nice.

When I opened the box I was happy. When I got to use the knife at work for the frist time that night was was ecstatic. That's the lightest sharpest knife I have ever owned and all of the knifes are exceptional. These knifes are a great set to have and in will use them for years to come.

Looks fantastic and like much more expensive knives. Handle is comfortable and weight distribution is also great. Only problem is it isn't really that sharp out of the box, but if you know how to sharpen it with sanding blocks, or get it professionally sharpened, it's an awesome knife set to have. Took one star off for that.
